Two With Water loves Soup!  As the recipient of a Sunday Soup grant, we urge you to check out the art collective Incubate- Institute for Community Understanding Between Art and The Everyday- (www.incubate-chicago.org) to learn more about their outside the box approach to building, funding and sustaining the arts community here in Chicago and beyond.  With this much needed help, TWW is well on its way to publishing a quaint, ol’ literary magazine chock full of stories, poems, pictures, anything else cool that comes our way.  Which reminds us, keep sending us your creative juices.  That soup’s only made us thirsty for more…

We have this new and improved website that we can easily update…thanks Beck!!! Subsequently, a number of the pieces for our highly anticipated (and soon-to-be critically acclaimed of course) debut issue are posted. What else? Our readings last summer were a huge success, drawing crowds all the way out to The Catalyst on the western edge of Humboldt Park, where our own writers shared the stage with poet Thax Douglas. We are also working on setting up our next event, which will be – you guessed it – the release party… then we can finally let go a bit… “and release”…

More updates are just around the corner, so in the meantime please continue to submit to your hearts content, but to your discontent it may take us a bit longer than usual to respond what with us getting ready to take this to the presses. Check back soon.
